Student Tobacco Education Program

The S.T.E.P. by STEP Program is designed to give campuses a comprehensive, month-by-month guide to tobacco control for the college population. The program has two components: S.T.E.P. By STEP Monthly Calendar and S.T.E.P. by STEP Resource Manual.

In the S.T.E.P. by STEP Resource manual you may have read about materials to help you get started and some of these materials are listed in the left hand column on this page.

Resources for programming, stakeholder identification, creating your campus resource sheet, and training and educating your campus about the importance of tobacco control are included. The sample letters are provided to assist you in contacting campus departments to join and support your work in tobacco control. The letters can be downloaded and adapted to fit your campus.

If you would like more information about S.T.E.P. by STEP, contact The BACCHUS Network™ Office at (303) 871-0901. Materials can be ordered from the tobacco materials store.
